"I'm so pleased to tell you that my new book of poems, Kind, is out from lovely Post Traumatic Press. Kind looks at our relationship to (other) animals on the planet. It also explores what it's like to be the kind of person who cares about that sort of thing.
There's original art inside by Susan Siegel, a truly brilliant artist--take a gander at the cover (below), which is a detail from one of her paintings.
And happily, where there's a book, there are book parties! Refreshments, lovely people to chat with, reading, signing, a portion of proceeds to animal-advocacy organizations.... I so hope you can be a part of one (or both!) of them:New York City:
